Hey everyone, Im going to be purchasing my full suspension lift soon and just would like some feedback to make sure Im not going to miss anything or mess my truck up. Here is the list of parts I will be ordering:

    1. OME 885 coils (w/top plate spacer)
    2. front bilstein 5100 (set to highest)
    3. toytec 2" AAL
    4. OME rear nitrocharger sport shocks
    5. solid steel axle degree shims
    6. U bolts with hardeware (8.5 in)
    7. OME 5mm trim packer
    8. front swaybar relocate kit

If anyone has any constructive critisism I would like to hear it. I really dont want to mess this up. Thanks.

I would swap the front struts, billies for OME nitrocharger struts to keep it consistent. The rest is all OME, is there any reason for going with billies?
and if this is the first and last lift you are gonna do, i would go ahead and upgrade those leafs to the dakar leaf pack.

Should be a good setup. I have the full ome kit so I don't know a whole lot about the 5100's but I have heard good things.

First, with the 885 coils you don't need to preload the 5100's so they should be set to 0. You don't need the trim packer as it is only for ome shocks. If you have a side to side height difference after the lift is installed you can go with a larger top plate spacer on one side. This will vary from truck to truck. I run about 3/8" spacer on drivers side and 1/8" on passenger side and I sit pretty level but again it will be different truck to truck.

For the swaybar, I took mine off when I installed the lift and I prefer the drive without it. You may still want to get the relocate kit if its cheap but you might want to try without it. I find the coils are stiff enough to take away body roll in corners. As long as you don't drive it like a race car.

Well first of all, you can't pre load the 5100's if you have the 885's on there. Is go with the OME nitros up front also as they were designed to go with the coils.

This is definatly not the ast lift I will be doing to it, Ive heard alot of good things about the billies and wasnt to sure about the OME, but you are right about it being consistant. Thanks.

Sje1124: Thanks for the tip, this is why I posted this lol
Barker: Im sure I will spend a couple days of driving without the sway bar just to see how it feels. Now im thinking I should go with OME front shocks instead of billies

I ordered the complete ome kit with dakar from wheelers and light racing ucas. Have yet to put it on but a ton of people run that and have no complaints.

there is basically 4 budgets for 4 different kinds of lifts.
(in order of cheapest to most expensive)
    1. spacer lift
    2. Bilstein 5100 preloaded coils and struts lift(sometimes paired with aal and eibach coils)
    3. OME full lift kit (kind of what your shooting for, and the most popular on TW)
    4. LT lifts like fox, King, etc.

I was thinking about going with the full OME kit but this is actually saving me alot of money.

with your revised list, you should be good. I would definitely consider if i were you to upgrade the leaf pack and UCAs in the near future.

If you get 885's with the top plate spacers you will most likely need new UCA's. that was the first set up I had up front and I need new UCA's being that I actually got about 3.75" of lift out of it.

OK. Will it help in the time being to get wheel spacers or is it another issue with the ucas I have.

Wheel spacers wouldn't help, new UCA's are a little bigger (giving more space between the UCA and coil) so the UCA and coil don't make contact.

And this is why asking questions haha. I needed to know this. So without the top plate spacer will I still get about 3" of lift?

Yes with out the top plate spacers you SHOULD get 3" of lift. It's different on everyone's truck. Are you a 4x4?
