Do you think it’s totaled?

Thoughts? No air bags were deployed. The frame doesn’t seem to be cracked or warped from looking under. 4wd engages no problem and was able to drive it away no problem. Do you think it’ll be totaled? The car who hit me basically t boned the truck bed and back cab. But was very surprised at how sturdy things felt when I got hit. No spinning or moving really. A lot of the damage seems to be the wheel well liner and the cosmetic damage of the bed panel. And somehow he missed my entire wheel and tire which look untouched haha The only thing that has me kinda concerned is the dent between the driver side rear door and truck bed. The panel that connects the rocker panels and the top part of the roof. I think that can be replaced but I’m just unsure. I’m trying to stay positive lol

I also have a decked drawer system installed inside the bed of the truck which I truly believe helped reduce the damage. I also have a steel rear bumper
That didn’t get a scratch on it which kept the tailgate in alignment and opens and closes no problem. And then I’m also thinking my metal bed rack helped keep the integrity of the bed frame. Or at least I want to believe that.

Ugly, but probably just a new bed and some body work on around the rear doors. Glad you're ok

I really hope so! The guy was speeding and just lost control while I was stopped at a red light, hit a planter divider and launched him into my side LOL I just can’t
Believe I drove away from it uninjured. #lovemytaco

    A 2021?
No, it would take a lot more than that.

You think they would replace the whole bed?

I think just the driver's side.
That cab damage is pretty nasty. Hopefully it doesn't need a frame replacement,,,, doesn't look like it though,,, of course the adjuster makes the decisions. I'd be worried about rear diff/axle problems down the road, the wheel/tire appears to have taken part of the blow.

They better compensate for Loss of value as well. Since it has an accident reported on it it will probably reduce your Kelley blue book value by around 5000

Probably not a total loss. Just a lot of work needs to be done

Don't think so. I would be super observant of the rear wheels/alignment. They could've hit the top of your tire with some force. It rebounded, but there's a possibility you have some damage of your rear bearing, U-bolts/suspension. Just take a damn good look at that too.

    Could've been worse!

I’m really hoping it’s not a total loss. I don’t mind if it has the accident on the record. It’s my baby and I take it off roading often so I know I’ll end up getting more trail damage eventually. I just can’t afford them to total it out. It doesn’t even have 5K miles on it and I just put new KO2s on it

$10-$12k in repairs considering that the frame is good.

If the frame had to be replaced you think it would top 30k in repairs?

I have a decked drawer system installed in the bed that is bolted down. From looking under the truck and behind the cab and everything looked good.

I once bought a tundra that got hit like that. Needed a new rear axle and wheel to. Your looking at least 12k to start.
