I looked up their salary on google .... no shit after o/t (wich one guy made 10k off of) they all made around 6 figures... BALLIN!!!!

 

You have to have probable cause or voluntary consent to search a vehicle. Now when I watched to video, it appeared when they(cops) first pulled up, the vehicle occupants were speaking with a prostitute. If the female was a known prostitue, that would give the officers reasonable suspicion to detain the occupants and the female until they determined no criminal activity was afoot. Thats what it looked like they iniatially rolled up on. I have no idea why Officer 2 started searching the back seat with the driver still inside. BIG officer safety issue there and constitutional rights possibly violated. I hate to see videos like this, but it happens.

This kind of stuff is always disheartening to see. Law Enforcement already has a hard enough time with the media, advertising and a whole host of things painting them in a very poor light. Then they go and do it to themselves.

I'm at school right now studying to one day be a Police officer and I always, always hate to see things like this.

 

I never see media bashing cops, just media catching cops. Like that video not long ago of that guy punching the lady in the face... or the one were the guy tackles the girl for no reason.

 

Yea it does suck but there are whackos in every public job....teachers fucking students, priests with little boys, cops being dousches, politicians being greedy/slimy fucks....its just media coverage makes it seem like everyone is like that when in reality the media rarely covers anything fucking worth while anymore, every night is something more and more horrible, those bad apples seem to get more attention than the honest, diligent, integrity driven public servants...so sad

999/1000 LEO's are stand-up guys, exactly who should be working in Law Enforcement. The media only shows the 1 dumbass without giving any worth while credit to the other 999. I do see some stories about the right thing happening, but they're few and far between. I never said the media bashed cops, I said Police often are shown in a bad light. Only showing the one bad apple brings all the "Fuck da police" idiots right to the top.

 

I hear ya. Well on a happy not the Tampa Police Dpt. heard a story of a little black kid who got bullied and his scooter stolen (razor) well they looked and looked (it was the kids christmas present ) then they decided to all pitch in and buy him a new one. The kid was so happy and humble it was nice. They have some feel good stories like that. I hear ya though just like when mail men go "postal" the guy/gal that delivers the mail everyday gets no recognition.

That is a cool story kid probably felt awesome!..LOL...He was placed on administrative leave but that was back in MAY...he probably stayed on the force because the girl originally assualted a teacher then fled....excessive force yes but not enough to get him fired because she was a fleeing suspect....sad because he could have detained her so much more non violently

 

Yeah they interviewed the kid and he was so nice maybe 7 or 8. But yeah he could have handled that better too. She wasnt even running. Odd I just watched the video and he just started running and hit her bad choice.

 

I know a lot of good cops, and am related to a few too...Been helped by them a buncha times as well.

But that made me wanna punch my screen.

My dad was a tampa cop, he is a good guy. All his friends were around when I was growing up and we still go out to lunch, they are all great none of them have been on the news. Well when they show police escorts they are

OK, the girl getting punched in the face to me was excusable. The cop was trying to do his job. He had one suspect resisting arrest, then another jumps in and starts struggling to get her free. 2 aggressive suspects in close quarters, can't use a taser, and the stick would probably be a bit excessive too. As for the girl getting tackled it looks to me like the cop went to grab her (hard but grab none the less) and then he tripped, hence the hand on the wall to prevent or slow his fall. Obviously these are not the preferred outcomes, but if they had been doing what they were supposed to in the first place it probably wouldn't have happened.

As for this scenario, one of the first things out of officer's mouths should be "are there any weapons in the vehicle I should be made aware of?" It's one I always got asked, and was one of the first things they asked when I got pulled over. (a lot when I was a teenager )

 

LOL dude no fucking way he "tripped" haha he started running, put his left elbow to her jaw and jacked her up, and he trips on her foot after he jacked her up on the way down, put his hand on the wall then said "run now bitch"...(ok that part may have been exaggerated)

 

no....you have to be armed and dangerous...not just armed there is a huge difference...
