I always strategically start to wash/clean my car when theres about an hour or so of daylight left. I do this because its cooler and the sun isnt as intense, but mainly because when the gf asks if I can wash her car next, I say "I would love to!". But then the sun goes down and it makes it very tough to complete such a job in a safe and thorough manner. She always forgets about it till the next time I was mine!

Usually wash my Taco and my wife's car weekly, but I've been working so much lately my wife has been washing hers and mine. I can't stand a dirty vehicle and fortunately it's rubbed off on my wife.

I wash both of the cars. Her car wouldn't get washed if I didn't do it. I see it as part of my job to take care of both of the cars because I want them to last as long as possible.

I used to detail both our trucks inside and out 2-3 times a year. Then one day about 3 years ago I realized that she could care less about trying to keep hers somewhat clean.

Coffee all over the steering wheel, shifter, console..no need for that. She had wipes in the glove box so it's not like she couldn't have cleaned it when she got to where she was going.

I wash her Rav4 everytime I do mine, but I will not spend hours of my life scrubbing and cleaning the interior when she trashes it.

I'm another OCD guy! It usually takes me about 6 hours to do her Rav4, but if I don't then I would feel bad if I did my Tacoma..... the problem is I don't have the energy to do mine when I get done with hers! So, I just drive a dirty truck!

Cleaned my NEW Tacoma today which didnt take 30 mins..just has some dust on it. :)

I felt sorry for her and completely detailed her Honda CRV, even cleaned the engine compartment. I was proud of what i had done and had her come out and look at it about 4 times. She told me thankyou and it looked great but I'm hoping for some trade later tonight... :)
