I always wear my seat belt and I make anyone who wants to ride with me to wear a seat belt also. I've lost too many friends to not wear one. :(

I sorta kinda occasionally wore the seatbelt off and on until I was 16.

One day in September of that year I was driving my best friend and my girl to school one day (we call went to the same high school)

Uncontrolled intersection with a house on the corner. From my right this asshole in an 87 mercury came FLYING out of nowhere (he was going so fast that with a locked drivers side front wheel, he went over 200 feet across a field after impact, cops said he had to be going 50 or better)

He hit me so fast and hard, my lil tercel spun around and my passenger door hit his back bumper and trailer hitch.

I had my belt on. I broke some knuckles on my left hand cause it went through the windshield (it was atop the steering wheel at impact).

My buddy was 6'3" and his head blew out the windshield on his side. He's a stubborn bastard though, just a concussion and some neat scars.

Girl, also unbelted, slid forward and crabbed the buckets and fucked her right knee up somethin' bad. Took surgery and a year of rehab.

Yea, so, since THAT day I don't move a car across a parking lot without a seatbelt. And a knife to cut myself out in an emergency if need be.

Of course. Who else's seatbelt would I wear? And why?

Flipped my work truck and walked away with only an inch-long scratch on my elbow. I was wearing my seat belt at the time and it probably saved my life. The wheels don't turn unless the belt is fastened.

The truck surfing vid, just how stupid can one get, he should be neutered so no progeny comes from his loins, not to mention the fact he destroyed what looked to be a very nice looking Taco..

Stupid know no bounds I guess...

Oops, yes, a chevy, upon closer inspection, no matter, maybe shot dead on the spot would have been better than neutering...

I never wore my seatbelt until my friend rolled his truck yesterday. The only thing he had was a couple of scrapes but if he didn't have his seatbelt on he probably wouldn't be here today. Big wakeup call for me

I knew a girl who would be alive today if she would had worn her seat belt. She rolled her car, she came out the window, and the car crushed her. The car wasn't hardly damaged even after rolling. If she would of had it on, she would of survived.

My daughter lost one of her best friends this way. Pretty girl, the blond in the photo below, only 18 years old. Sad.

always, and if you're riding in my truck, you're wearing a belt too.

being a firefighter, you see plenty of accidents where the seatbelt made the difference between a "green" patient and a victim with serious injuries.

I'm the same way. Wheels don't turn till the belts are on.

Always. I've seen the utter devastation of not wearing one. Trust me. You don't want to see it.

I always wear my seatbelt. It's habit.

One day I got in an argument with my parents about not wearing a helmet on a motorcycle. They said if I don't care about my safety on a bike, then I probably don't wear my seat belt in a car. Now I'm getting used to wearing a helmet too.

I don't think twice about putting on a seatbelt. It's second nature. The Tacoma seatbelts are comfy so they rarely give me any discomfort.

Passengers are required to wear their seatbelts, too.

Yesterday a vehicle had a blowout sending it across the median into a bus. 5 people in the vehicle..4 didn't have their seatbelts on. The only one that survived was the one with a seatbelt..

    In other words...WEAR IT!
