Hello! Looking to upgrade the stock leafs in my 2013 DCLB. 24/7 have a RTT + bed rack. Looking to upgrade rear bumper in future as well. From my understanding the heavy pack would be the way to go? Therefor I’m torn between these 2 packs I see on here a lot. Any and all input is greatly appreciated :) thanks in advance!

Just installed Dobinsons L59-111r on my 09 Access Cab got about 3" lift but that's about what I wanted. I don't drive much right now either, so should settle. No squeek yet! I put their greasable bolts in the leafs also and replaced shackle hangers too. With all this said I replaced my whole suspension with Dobinsons and SPC UCA's got 3" lift all around.

I’ve got the Dakar pack. Squeaked initially. Greased up the plastic pads some more and nothin since. You planning to upgrade shocks too?

All leafs squeak. Even stock. Deaver FTW as far as performance and longevity.

    RXT or Deaver.
RXT is customizable and handles most things. They yield ride improvement.
Deaver costs a bit more and is probably a bit better, by how much I don't know.

I know one reason people get Deaver is because they have to for their build and don't have a choice.
Like if the truck carries basically a house on the back, RXT won't handle that and custom Deaver will be needed.

Have the OME HD on since 2015 and never an issue raised rear about 3". Only had to change the rear hanger polys (yellow OME) after 6 years probably the sand and salt eat them. They came with rubber fronts and they are still OK. They are stiff but when towing up near max the back is level. Rear 5100s and front 5100s on 3rd notch stock springs up about 2". So unloaded or no tow has a slight rack OK with me. Many opinions just my info FYI.

Dobinson for sure in your case. Chevy 63s are the true upgrade at the end of the day though.

About everyone saying the deaver squeak.
    They do, that is true.

When they Seqeak, I just pressure wash the dirt and grime off, and add grease between the pucks. And it’s silent for another 2 years

That's inherently not true. My ATS leafs have never made a sound. Highly recommend. They'll happily build you a custom pack to whatever you want and cheaper than most other brands

My vote is for Dobinson. I did a lot of research and they were the happy medium where Deavers are the ultimate upgrade but a little out of my price range. I quickly ruled out Dakars due to the squeaks and also the fact that many people who really use their trucks said they go flat very quickly. And that is no good. Been almost 2 years running Dobinsons with NO issues. 112s in the back, 2.5" lift coils (IMS struts and "stock" rate coils (still stiffer than actual stock but just right IMO). I haul a 1600 lb slide in camper and take that on logging roads often. I am very happy with it.

Chevy 63 looks cool and has lots of travel

but isn't it not the best due to supposedly not handling weight added to the truck?
    ie 200lb shell, etc.

I upgraded my leafs to the Dakar heavy packs about a year ago. 2009 access cab. Keep a pop-top shell and drawers in the bed 24/7, maybe 450-500 lbs extra weight without gear. I’ve been happy with the setup, especially at this price point. Greased up the bushings and plastic pads at install and squeaking has been minimal over the past year and ~15k miles, mostly hard loaded miles in the mountains and desert.
