I don't have any saved. It's pretty rare for someone just to run those, but it's a good option if you're only looking for about 1" of lift.

You can take a floor jack and lift up the front cross member 1" then stand back to get an idea of how it looks and if you'll like it.

I didn't think about that. Would I need a driver side spacer to prevent lean at this lift height?

Thanks Mike (This is CN BTW. I e-mailed you earlier today)

Probably not, but lean isn't always predictable. If your truck already has 1/2" lean or more, then you'll need it.

I apologize if this has been recently asked, but any idea when the L59-111-R leaf packs will be back in stock?
These are for my 2019 Taco DCSB. Time to upgrade from my stock leafs + 3 leaf AAL :spending:

August 15th approximately. Or you can get the 112s now and remove the 5th leaf which will make them the same as the 111s.

Hmmm, interesting. Maybe I’ll do that so I have the capability to add it back in if I ever need the capacity. So you just remove the smallest regular leaf, right? Not the overload leafs?

Another question - do any of the regular U bolt lift kits on the market work with the dobinsons leaf packs?

Ok - follow up question since I waited and now the 112-r’s are out of stock. Any idea when they’ll be back in stock? The heavy duty 112-Rs that is.
Also, will any u bolt flip kit on the market work with that leaf pack?
    Thx!

3-4 months is the guess right now. They're not on the ocean yet.

Yes any flip kit should work. They normally use longer ubolts than needed and the excess gets cut off

Had a local shop install dobinson IMS a few weeks ago. C59-314 Coils up front. Heavy duty (L59-112-R) leafs in the rear but removed the 5th leaf. Ride height is about perfect. Slight rake in the rear, which is what I was after. Also had a set of SPC UCAs installed and had the caster set to 4 degrees. I have a slight rub at full lock on the driver side so I’ll do a Cmc this weekend and then go flex the suspension. Running 285/70/17 Falken Wildpeaks. Goal of this build is to increase the trucks capability but keep the weight down. No steel bumpers will be added to this little truck. 4.88 gear install schedule for next month.

Probably a dumb question but will Dobinson's coil springs work with Eibach pro truck shocks?

I think they will. As long as they use a pigtail bottom and flat top

I'm 35 pages in and can't go much further without asking a question or two. From my motorcycle experiences and some with the former Frontier, I like great rebound control. Can't stand a shock to top out with a thud because rebound is weak or there is air at the top of a shock. Or, a bouncy/boaty feel. With the different spring rates available, are different shock part numbers available with different valving? For simplicity, let's say for the 220 or IMS shocks. To me, a 220 shock with a 302 spring would be stiffer and top out harshly compared to an IMS with a 302 spring. This assumes the 220 shock has an additional 1.0 inch of spring preload.

The numbers are random and just a point. If front wheel travel were 12 inches, I'd prefer about 3-4 inches of sag, lots of rebound control, and still have say 2-3 inches of lift. How does one get something like this without buying a trophy truck?

To control the rebound, you'd need to get the MRA struts, as they have adjustable rebound and HSC and LSC adjustments. All the options are listed in the first post.

To maintain travel, you have to balance out the lift height. The more you lift it, the more you take away from useable down travel.

You've used the same spring part number in your example, so I'm not following you. The GS59-220 struts have a fixed strut seat, set to 226mm. The IMS are fully adjustable, so it depends where you set them for what amount of preload you have and what lift height you get.
