Anyone running the twin tube ext travel (GS59-220) with stock springs to get an inch of lift in the front?

@Crikeymike any reason not to use stock springs if I don't have any added weight?

It would technically work, just make sure your Tacoma didn't come with taller struts to start with. Measure from the bottom end of the coil down to the lower center bolt. As long as it's 213mm, then these struts will add 1" of lift, as they're 226mm from base to lower mount.

Hello all! I have a 2022 TRD Off-Road DCSB and I've been looking at swapping out my current setup to the Dobinson 0-3" extended travel IMS coilovers. Dobinson IMS rear shocks with an Icon add-a-leaf and Dirt King uppers.

I'd like to run 285/75 16's. I have Fifteen52 Turbomac classics 16x8 0 offset 4.5" back spacing. Would 2" front and icon add-a-leaf rear work with the 285's? I don't have bumpers currently. I do have rock sliders. Does anyone have experience with this setup? Any advise would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

That should work fine. Although tire clearance and fitment has a lot to do with the wheel alignment and how the tech positions your tires during that process. Usually with 33s you'll still have to do some plastic trimming but they should be able to move the tires forward to reduce the chance of a body mount. There are no guarantees though since alignment techs are entry level jobs in my experience.

Thanks, Mike! I'll definitely be ordering my kit from you when I'm ready. Would you recommend removing the overload leaf to get a leveled look?

I thought you were going to add leaves into the stock pack?

I thought if you removed the factory overload and put the icon add-a-leaf in its place it would give you around a 1" lift. Is that incorrect?

I've never tried it or had a customer give me that info, so I can't confirm.

The path is correct, you remove the factory overload, replacing with the AAL pack. This nets generally 1.5" of lift (That was based on a fresh pack, so if leafs are well aged, this may net closer to 1")

@Crikeymike , if I were to instal the Dobinsons 2 inch front coil overs and 2 inch block in the rear on my SR, I wouldn't need any other mods or have any issues other than needing to redo my alignment. Is that correct?

Yes, that's correct. It's not lifting it too much to require any other parts.

Can I get away without the sway bar relocation at 2 inches, or would you recommend using it?

No, it's not needed at 2". More for a 3" front lift.

Hey @Crikeymike, I was looking through the Dobinson catalog, page 324 & 326, and noticed the 50mm and 75mm variations of the C59-314 share the same product number. Is there a different part number for the 75mm version so I know im ordering the right one?
