I need one of these in my life. I guess I'm gonna wait for a flash sale to come back around.

So will these work with aftermarket cold air intakes since it's just a hose that connects snorkel to airbox?

A cold air intake usually isn't a cold air intake. It's a hot under the hood air intake, by getting rid of the stock airbox.

The snorkel requires the stock air box and filter setup to work.

Edit, this won't work with a snorkel

    Yes
I had to do a little trial and error but I was able to plumb my Dobinsons to my aFe intake airtight with some adapters and trimming, etc.

As @Crikeymike said tho it’s designed out of box for factory intake

You're referring to the standard K&N or air raid intakes that just put an aluminum sheet around a filter next to the open hole... an actual cold air intake( what I was referring to) uses the stock air intake location and plumbing in larger filter and less restrictive tubing for smoother/ more air flow ( AFE state 2, S&B, Injen, Etc.)

Sweet, that's what I have and the cold air intake I was referring to for those that aren't aware that such a thing exists.

Incorrect, at least with my Volant intake housing. While I did have to remove the forward “cooler” air intake that was mounted above the width of the radiator and cap that intake hole, the snorkel elbow attached to the quarter panel air intake tube without issue.

Read through this whole thread, nice installs.

Does anyone have a setup where they can remove the snorkel & cover over the hole with some kind of finished-looking intake grille while preserving normal air intake functionality?

Basically I'd like the option to be able mount & unmount/stow the snorkel fairly easily for the ~363 days of the year when I know I won't need it for driving through water.

After 36 years in the military (both Army and Air Force) I will take my business elsewhere when a company will not ship to APO/FPO addresses. An option is to use APO Box (a stateside shipping service that will forward on your parcel for a small fee) to get products I can’t find anywhere else. Generally, companies with shipping agreements with FedEx/UPS that won’t make the effort to provide shipping for military don’t deserve your business. Be better. Don’t use this practice to hate your service to this country.

Don't hate the service, Just super annoying not able to get some parts that I want. I have two trucks and a track car and sometimes I have to go with the most expensive option or the less quality because they are ones that offer shipping for us.

Yes we do, just not thru the website. The shipping options via the posy office for APO addresses are tricky and not easy to program into the website. Email us for a shipping quote.

Sometimes good old fashioned communication is needed...
