Looking at picking up the GS59-221 strut with the C59-354 coils, will be armored and winched. Curious on other peoples first hand opinions on howmuch lift they ended up getting and the ride quality. Currently on a RC levelling kit and i can literally feel every crack in the road.

Dude, you're going to have to provide more information than that to get my business! LOL Yes, this is me trying to be funny. I will be reaching out. New everything underneath is on the list. But I need to learn a bit more about the ins and outs before taking the plunge.

Would there be any lift from using stock 2nd gen Off Road springs with the GS59-221 struts? Or do these need struts need a longer spring to provide lift?
Also, any deals or specials coming up for Dobinson gear?

Those struts don't add any lift and I don't think those coils would add much either. The GS59-220 add 1" to whatever coil due to the raised coil seat.

    Nothing has been announced yet

Am I missing something with the UB59-453-2k U bolts? How come the picture shows two square and two rounded? Don't I need all square u bolts?

Square are for OEM setup with the bottom stamped steel plate underneath the axle and stock bumpstop plate on top of the leaf spring.
Round are for a u-bolt flip that does not use the bottom stamped steel plate underneath the axle.

If you have to ask, you probably need the square bolts.

Mike, I have a 2014 Toyota Double Cab Long Bed 4X4 TRD Sport, and I like to upgrade my truck suspension with a 2.5" lift front and back.
I drive my truck daily and upgraded my stock suspension to TRD Pro Suspension 4 years ago, and I like the ride quality of the TRD Pro Suspension.
I use my truck for Off-road camping (1 or 2 times a month) and load my bed with camping gears (not more than 400 lbs).

My truck has 175 lbs of front accessories (Winch, low profile bumper, and a skid plate). I like your MRA complete suspension kit,
but I am undecided on the spring rate for the front and what leaf spring on the rear.
What is your suggestion or recommendation for the Front Spring rate and Rear Leaf Spring rate?

I so on your website "Veterans Discount." You can PM the Veteran discount.

    Hey bud.

For 2.5" up front with the weight you have, the C59-314 coils and the IMS59-50220 struts set to 220mm seat height would get you right there.

In the back, the L59-111-R springs are what I'd suggest, and you can go for the IMS59-50940 rear shocks, due at the end of next month.

I'd recommend new UCA's at that height too for proper articulation and also a better alignment.

The IMS struts and shocks would be the most similar to the TRD Pro suspension you have now, but an upgrade over them. IFP internals provide better comfort over harsh terrain. Fully adjustable front coil seat height. 2.2" shock bodies, and also monotubes like you have now.

We're running a sale right now that beats all other discounts. Click the top banner of my website www.exitoffroad.com for full details.

And here's the kit page that lists all those parts and all options too: https://exitoffroad.com/product/dobinsons-tacoma-ims-kit-for-2005-to-2021-4x4-access-double-cabs/

    Hi Mike,

Thanks for the recommendation, and pull the trigger, order it today the full suspension. I ended up with an adjustable one, the MRA Shocks.

    Thanks,
    Pio N.

I have a similar set up.
2013 DCLB also running the pro suspension. No winch, but Demello alum bumper and full alum skids with sliders on the way. In the back I have a fiberglass cap and 75 pounds of gear in the bed. Using a 3 leaf progress pack on stock leafs. Rear leafs are starting to show there age. Looking to run the IMR system.
Looking to get 2.5 inches in the front and 2 inches in the back.

Trying to decide between the C59-314 and the C59-352 and L59-110R and the L59-111R

    Already running JBA UCAs

If there's no winch, the 314s would work fine.

So I finally installed my 112s. Handles the weight VERY well with my bags at zero. Before with just bags (at 42psi) my truck felt lumbering and unsteady at times. It also made me nervous having all that weight Supported by one point on the frame. Now, I truly could forget my camper is there Suspension-wise. You still know it’s there when it comes to braking though!

I ran the camper for the weekend hoping to see how it settles, but I am thinking I might remove a leaf, because if I don’t do that then I’m removing the bags, which means I’ll have to buy bump stops. So I’m inclined to continue running bags since I own them, and remove a leaf to improve the unloaded ride, reduce the unloaded rake, and also fix the new driveline angle issue. Ideally I’m looking for that happy medium where I’d be running 15ish psi in the bags when I’m loaded.

Note, the truck weighs 6220 loaded, and 4640 without the camper. So that’s a 1600 lb camper loaded which includes about 30 gallons of water.

@Crikeymike, the website says remove the 4th leaf down for the 112 pack. Is that still true? I didn’t think it would be that leaf because it has those brackets riveted to it.

Yeah, the springs changed and it's the 3rd one down now.
