    1. Car washes simply don’t get the job done, especially after a weekend out on the trails.

    2. I don’t trust any car wash with my truck especially with that “we’re not liable for aftermarket parts breaking” blah blah BULL

Hand wash is just more time for me to spend with my truck lol

No, it has not yet been updated for the 1 stud that is off. The batch that is about to arrive was already in production and almost done before we started shipping the last ones.

All of those that have installed these following the instructions (especially step #6) have been able to get the install done without too much trouble. Sure, it's a bitch to get your hands back in there. You can take the fender off and install the snorkel onto the fender to it that way if you want, but I think you'll have to replace some fender flare clips in the process.

I love the look but would never cut away all the fender bracing like he did.

I’m sure install will go ok with proper attention to detail/prayer the night before. I had no instructions/template when I cut my bedsides for the HC bumper or for the front bumper install and it turned out aight. For the “added value” of @Dobinsons Mike Product vs the competition I am ok with the minor template issue. At least I’m ok with the fact it’s been brought up and I’m not the first one to install it

I think it looks real good, but not necessarily better. I actually like the look of the strong arm.

We definitely followed the instructions and we were sure to put the template on the snorkel but even then it's honestly not just one hole. about 3 holes are off slightly with 1 being the most extreme, however, even after getting the new holes from the snorkel it was more than 1 hole that didnt fully align.

Honestly, ratcheting it down and installing the rubber tube is the easiest part.

I think if I had to do it all over again. I would put the template up and cut the main intake hole, then put axle grease on the snorkel bolt studs and press it into the fender as closely as aligned to the template, then drill out where the grease marks are.

When i cut my bedsides for the HC bumper i had a few and ended up taking a cut-off wheel to the back of the hand... so 2 might be good. IDK, still kicking it around... its not a 100% perm modification but damn close... i guess its no worse than the bedsides.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
What’s up my peeps! Jumped off the thread for a bit, just ordered a crate of armor from Demello and I am pumped.

So I was talking with my buddy that installed one early on. Regarding the template issues, did you guys end of drilling the holes basically about .25” up and .25” back towards the door?

My friend mentioned that when they did this the snorkel lined up nicely with the A-pillar.

Getting back into this and I am going to install soon.
