I used the syklone 9001. I had troubles sourcing a syklone so I ended up using this model number AP8403 Fleetguard. It is the syklone, stamped with syklone but rebranded for fleetguard. You will also need a reducer 4.0x3.5 in size. Try model number 40R35 to find the right one.
There is debate on 9001 vs 9001r. I felt like the 9001 fits our engine size the most appropriate. I don’t feel like it restricts the engine at all or has any effect in high or low rpm ranges. It’s been on the vehicle since I got the snorkel and I have done 80mph interstates with no problem. The thing stays put. I did get some vibrations when I only had 3m tape on the pillar but the pop rivets fixed that.

also for fun use this to see what kind of CFMs your engine pulls and when the prefilter is the most effective

Not sure how I could of. Unplugged and re-plugged in after. Some of my hose clamps were a little lose. So I tightened them.
Anywho trac light was off today and the codes I have are p0113 and p0102. Both are related to air flow. Truck drives like it did with out the snorkel. I cleared the code. Will see if it comes back.

Are you sure? There's a little company in Tokyo that would disagree. They invented the Mas Air Flow Sensor and coined the phrase "exceeding the measuring framework"

Same in here, no code. You should check and see if you have any connector loose or unplug.

Snorkel was delivered home today, when my fire season ends and I go home I'll be installing. What paint are you guys using to touch up the drilling and cutting? Already have a precleaner and rubber trim waiting.

    Copy.

I talked to the guy who runs Syklone's Instagram, per his recommendation I bought the 9001 and reducer, as well as some rubber insulation tape to fully seal as the reducer brings it it to 3.5" and the inlet on the snorkel is 3.36".
