    Wow, I'd say just the wrong combination of parts. How much shorter or longer is that Chevy leaf than the one you pulled out? Seems like it all go too soft, and I'm impressed that it bent so much in the front like that. Did you fail to mention that you have a 600HP motor or something?? ahahaha

    I see your point for sure. 90% of people I've ever sold suspension to never ask for item measurements though, they're more like "how much lift will I get and how will it ride". I also find it to be regional. Florida people like big lifts, Colorado people like max flex, Californians like negative rake, Wisconsin people just hate life!! hahahah, it all depends what terrain you're going on, what wheeling you like to do, and what's popular in your area.
    Once we get them in, and I can take the measurements for you, I'll send you a PM then.

    Not trying to throw stones here at all. This guy just above with bent leaf springs has his own combo of parts in a leaf pack, and it has failed him, as opposed to buying parts off the shelf versus mixing/matching things. Too much information out there could cause people to make the wrong choice and have them end up with failed parts and have to spend money all over again to fix it, like Sandman614 up here (no offense Sandman). I think that's why 90% of the people I've dealt with would rather go with an option that comes with a warranty and is rated to do specific things (this lift height, that load capacity, etc).

    HAHA nah, stock 4.0, it must be all those sitcker HP boosters. The Chevy leaf is about 2 inches longer(towards the front i think) than the stock leaf i took out.

    Wheelers (Icon clone) AAL meant for our trucks. If that was the only problem there would be a lot more bent leaves.

    While it is incredibly difficult to come up with the proper search parameters to find more of that, I have *definitely* seen that exact thing MANY times. Don't think for a second that your spring reversal is at all unique.

    But you may be exacerbating it by using that chevrolet leaf. What was the reason for that, anyhow?

    That clip is also in the way of the overload.

    Hey yeah, that's very true!
    Also, how the heck did that clip get riveted to an AAL that is supposedly for a Tacoma?

    Edit... looks like there are few AAL's with clips like that, but they are ALL intended for the REMOVAL of the overload leaf.

    From Wheeler's website;
    "A 3 leaf progressive racing style Add A Leaf set. Designed to replace your factory overload leaf. Comes with longer U-bolts and center pins."

    @Dobinsons Mike thanks, I look forward to hearing from you. I am looking for max flex within the limits of my budget and thing the parabolic springs could provide that. Not too worried about the warranty.

    I've added a lot of the products up onto Amazon now. Handling all the individual orders from all the forums has become pretty time consuming!! :help:

    So I've amended the first post to include links to the items that are up on Amazon. Yes, some things have a higher price on Amazon due to the shipping, but I was able to keep the leaf spring prices the same (we will be eating a lot of shipping prices).

    The good news is that I can offer TW members discounts if purchasing direct. I'll match the Amazon deal and discount by 5%. All order requests would need to be sent to me by PM or email me directly (link in sig).

    May 1st already!!

    Just bumping this back up to say that we will be at Overland Expo West in Flagstaff at the end of next week. We won't have our own Taco there, but I'd like to meet any of you that will be at the event. We will have a sweet 80 series there though for you to check out and our range of accessories too.
