    BONE STOCK! lol
You can make way more power out of a 5.9 cummins than you can in a Tacoma

Had tons on the old Taco's.... new Tundra is pretty stock
Hope you're talking about drag racing on a designated track........
I'd say probably the Tacoma unless the dodge has some mods like a tuner/intake/exhaust setup. Then I think I'd throw my money on the Cummins.

I traded my '05 Dodge 2500 SLT QuadCab LB 4x4 Cummins for my '09 Tacoma, but the Cummins would smoke the Tacoma...

    300HP - 610lb/ft torque vs. a 4.0 V6...

Also, I had 4:10 gears in my Dodge as well...

Yeah I went to a diesel show in Buda Texas and there was a guy there running 9000 RPMs for a diesel! It was unbelievable! But a slightly modified cummins would smoke a tacoma...

I'll try to find that video an post it.

My brother's lifted, big tired, 4X4 2500 put my truck to shame. :( But my Eclipse could beat it, depending on the situation.

Truck for Truck, my '05 2500 is slower than my Tacoma, but the Dodge will pull the Tacoma around like a rag doll.

yah dont be messing with any diesels on the street!! especially a newer cummins...i was a diesel guy before my taco, i had a 04' quad cab automatic cummins with right at 600hp...and that was without openeing up the motor!! 4x4 boosted launches were the funnest ! cant beat leaving the line at 18lbs of boost and never never spin a tire! haha

Stock vs. stock I'd say the Tacoma wins (unless you attach a trailer to each one of them . . . LOL). If the Dodge is modded (which so many of the diesels are), it should easily handle the Taco. They can make some insane power when modded.

I raced a 2500 cummins back when my truck was stock, He ran a 15.3 and I ran a 15.4 and he had me off the line so if I was quicker off the line im sure I would have won.

Ummm, I wouldn't bet on that. These guys podium'd the Baja 1000 is a fairly stock Cummin's Ram. If you consider an $11,000 3" lift with Fox shocks fairly stock.

Both stock...long straight paved street...the govenor kicks in on the dodge 1st, think its around 95mph and the taco is about 110mph...4 Runner also beats a Chevy 2500 Duramax...not off the line, but in top speed..:anonymous:

Can I ask why it even matters? That's like someone wanting to compare a 370Z to a Civic Si. Why? :annoyed:

Woh a diesel will beat a gasoline engine? I thought only the hemi 5.7 would have a chance to beat the tacoma
