    Hi,

I own a 2008 4Runner. I bought a 8' wide travel trailer, and have tried many tow mirrors -- numerous strap-ons, McKesh, and so on. Either they don't stay on, or there are potential damage-to-the-truck issues.

So in an RV forum last night, I ran across this 05 Taco that the owner had installed Dodge tow mirrors on. I'm trying to get ahold of the poster to get more details of the installation, but haven't reached him yet.

I thought you all on this forum would be interested in this, and also I wondered if anyone else here had done this type of mod?
And would anyone here perchance know if the outside mirror configuration on a 4th Gen 4Runner (2003-2009) would be the same as on this 2005 Tacoma?

Thanks in advance for any info!

Love that this is still his only post to date. This man came in, peaked, and faded off into the mist.

Don’t know what I’m gonna do when I see someone in a Tacoma driving with those mirrors folded out with no trailer. Too many guys in rams doing that!

I had those mirrors for awhile...the ones I had shook really badly in the portrait position. So I changed to the 4Runner mirror. Additionally the Dodge mirror really blocked side view sight lines at intersections.
