Does ********* ever respond to email??

Just wondering.

I would like to give this guy some money but does not respond to emails requesting information.

For me, email is easier than making a call. May have to break down and actually try to communicate the old fashioned way.

No big deal, there are a lot of stereo shops out there who would be happy for my money. I did like their unique mounting rings for speakers and tweeters. Plus the wiring harness, etc.

Thought TT kinda died, stopped shipping paid for orders and never responded to anybody asking where there stuff was or demanding refunds?

 

Does anybody else source those speaker mount rings?

I was planning on replacing the front 6x9 with a 6.5 component and adding a small sub in the back.

They sucked, all my adapters had to be trimmed and shaped to fit in my double cab. Do an Ebay search or Crutchfield.

 

Mr Marv on the forums here is another source that can help you out with mounts and sub box if you are interested. Super nice guy. I have some stuff coming from him shortly.

 

I am currently on a one email a day habit with them...... they responded once .... so far yeah have you ever seen the guy ummmm yeah. and his models good selling point but unless they are all pulling double duty in the warehouse I can give a shit. On about my third maybe fourth week without my adapters.

 

I ordered my wiring harness and steering wheel adapter through ********* and got it within a week. I ordered before I saw the issues people were having.

I highly recommend ordering from Mr. Marv. I ordered speakers and adapter through him plus his knowledge and availability is awesome. He accidentally sent the wrong adapters. When I contacted him, he had the correct adapters to me within a few days. I cannot speak highly enough about Mr Marv.

 

I ordered from them some stuff about three years ago and they were great. i just recently ordered some adapter plates and it has been over two months and I havent gotten anything. Im quite disappointed.

 

Well currently I just sent out my 8th email to them to even see if they even sent it.

Next email will be to cancel the order.....

 

Great thread. Newbie here and was ready to plop a lot of cash *********' way. I will seek other options.

However, the videos *********' provides were helpful in my research.

 

Yeah overall their product is good (bit over priced) but good. I like their kits as its a one stop shop. But they are losing me REAL quick. I would email them and ask them what their lead times are for what you want if they even answer you with a good answer then buy from them and the day after they promise you and its not there. lose your ever loving mind on them

 

Personally I would never send anyone, even someone I don't like, to *********.

Ummmmmm im starting to agree with you on that. Still no response tomorrow morning i will begin my complaint process to paypal. The one thing i dont get is that he has an account here why has he not quashed this thread with rainbows and lollipops about his company.

I just bought a box from Mr. Marv looks like i will be calling him for door mounts as well should have started there in the first place. He does not need to sell himself his products and we do it for him.

 

Do it do it do it..I ordered plates from Marv a while ago, got em in no time and exactly as promised. He'll get my money for sure when I'm in need down the road.

Exactly, i started a thread on my experience with him before i even received the box just because the upfront service was that good looks like ill call him to tomorrow and spend another hour in a deluge of awsome knowledge that he will impart on me.

 

Why not make your own mounts? They are super easy to make. A basic jig saw and some time will get you set. There are templates on TW as well you can print out.

 

Im deployed so i order all the parts and junk and it sits at my house in a pile (alter if you will) for up to 6 months then when i go on leave i just do a couple days of straight building and tinkering so i cant add fab time into it or at least i dont want to add it.

 

That makes perfect sense. Mr. Marv will hook you up. His work is amazing.

 

I ordered a full set of adapters from them within the last 2 months and got my stuff right away. Made templates of my own out of their plates in case I ever need to make other stuff.

 

Just completed a PayPal complaint. We will see where this goes.
