Snug Top, Tint, American Racing Mojave Rims with BFG AT's, Icon Coilovers, Camburg UCA's, Wheelers rear springs, Icon Rear shocks with res, front diff spacer.
So in previous posts I was inquiring on the fitments of the American Racing Mojave 17x8 with 4.5 backspacing. I am about to pull the trigger and the shop said something to the point of I hope you don't mind that the rims will be sticking out and or I hope you have a lift.. What's the deal? I am installing the icon coil overs and Camburg UCA's with the 3 leaf pack from wheelers. I should be fine right? I guess in the long run I may want to throw some bitchin' front fenders on her but not now. The tire selection I am going with is bfg at's 285/70/17 I am going crazy with this stuff.. Can someone help out?

4.5" backspaced rims will work perfectly for you. I'm running them on my truck and they're just right, depth-wise.

As for the lift, that has less to do with the wheels and more to do with the tires, and here's where they're right. That's almost a 33" tire (32.7") and it'll rub with the stock suspension and fenders. If you're swapping out the coilovers and UCAs then you'll be in much better shape. It might be close when the tires are stuffed and the wheel is turned, but honestly you should have no problems.

The full setup you have planned can definitely work, but the lift should probably be done first.

Agree that the lift is going to need to be done first, but did not want to get caught with the lift done without having the rollers done. I wish I could have run the 16 inch rims but too many reported issues with the calipers. Thanks for your reply I greatly appreciate it.
