Does a 1998 TRD Have a Double-DIN Opening?

    I don't think so but I thought I'd ask. It would be nice if it did though, then I could fit a display into it.

    Yes it does. Even ones with single din radios will accept a double din. (some radios may need an install kit)

    Yeah. It's double din. The cubby under the radio removes with the radio.

    Yup, it's a double din, I'm running a double din stereo.

    Thank you for your replies. I had forgotten about the cubby being there. I think the next step is to look for a nice display/cdplayer/mp3 player to replace my Alpine.

    Really love my Pioneer. Fit perfectly. Got tired of the shitty single DIN Sony that came with the truck when I bought it. Kept resetting itself and I would have to adjust the sound settings every few days
