    Rumor is Toyota manufactured 5k Pro models out of the 1/4 million Tacoma’s sold last year (3%).

    I've always just scoured the web for a pro VIN when needed, not hard at all. Infact all dealers list the Vin on their websites. As far as toyota knows, I have a pro, an OR, and a 4runner pro for good measure. Oh, and a Lexus.

    Pretty much. Only an enthusiast would know or recognize it - aka someone here. And even then if someone posted it here, I'm sure more than half of the forum would still ask since it'd be questionable as to what the exact trim line was/is. If you care that much about stuff only an enthusiast would recognize, and you want to increase the boundaries to certain things, you just went from enthusiast to elitist.
