Ok so I just bought a 3in lift in front and 2in in the rear and I was wondering if I need to buy a extended brake line

I would, and did. Cheap and easy to do, so a no-brainer.

2" lift with extended travel shocks equals to one tight hose at full droop. I got by in a pinch by relocating the upper bracket down a little.

I'm running OME Dakars in the rear with the Nitrocharger Sport shocks, and flexed out it put a lot of stress on the brake line and e-brake mount. IIRC, they share a frame mounting flange, so I just bent the flange from pointing up towards the bed, to pointing sideways/down. Gave me a few more inches for free. Now at max droop the lines still have slack.

But if you're running especially long travel shocks, a new line would be a necessity.

Had mine redone with a 2.5" lift so I'd imagine it would be close with a 2" lift.
