FYI my 2014 WR450F fits just fine in the bed of my DCSB with the tailgate down.

I do have the relentless fab FULL tailgate skin which is WELL worth the money for it.

I have a 1999 YZ400F and a 2003 XR400R. Neither of these bikes will fit into my 6' bed straight on, I have to leave the tailgate down. They will fit with the gate closed if I put the bike at an angle pointed corner-to-corner. It's just kind of jenky finding a good angle with the tiedowns when the bike's not straight; I like the bikes to be very secure and super snug.

I can fit all 3 of our 125ccs in the back of our DCLB side by side, tailgate closed. A 250/450 can fit on an angle to, tailgate closed.

The tailgates are weak... not meant to hold much weight. but, it should hold the light end of a dirt bike just fine.

if you're going to haul motorcycles regularly, you might want to buy a taco with a 6ft bed.

There are also reinforcement sheets to replace the OEM one on the tailgate. If that isn't enough, reinforcements/gussets can be welded to the inner structure. I have done this.

I have the 6' bed. A 250 or 450 will fit with the tailgate up as long as the bike is angled in. See profile pic. That is my sons RMZ250. You cannot shut the tailgate with a 5' bed no matter haw you try with a full size dirt bike.
