Water can get in the cab once it's higher than the floor level.

Are we talking standing water, or flowing water? I had no problems crossing standing water that was slightly higher than my wheel wells.

I live in a flood zone. some of the puddles can get to 3' deep. When the storm drains get clogged with beach sand.

If this weren't a Photoshop, it would imply someone did a solid front axle swap, solid rear axle swap, AND rear wheel steering on a Ridgeline...

I'd cross that if standing fresh water. Not if moving fast, unknown depth, or salt water.

Pro-tip...as someone that grew up on Florida. Seek higher ground and don't be a wannabe badass during a flash flood. This is precisely what gets people in trouble, fast. Unless you're rolling with a F250/Duramax with a 6" Lift (and even then)....see Houston.

my plan is to be at home or 200 miles away from the flooding, but last week was a flash flood and I got caught in it while driving home.

The last time before that in 2018 I got caught in it also while driving home.

ptsd sets in everytime it starts raining while I am at work.

    south tx brownsville area

we only recently started crazy flooding like 3 years ago. Seems to be an ongoing thing now.
I am particularly worried because I fully expect us to get a hurricane this year and theres no way we can handle it.

Brownsville is super low, maybe as low as Galveston?
