15,000 miles on my '10 so far. Interior is very much rattle free. I did have one nagging rattle I kept hearing when I had my sound system up blasting country music, which I ended up tracking down to the garage door opener hatch. I did as others have an put a piece of paper in there as no more rattles! I do however have the blower motor squeek, and squeeky TSB springs.

Almost 80,000 miles and nice and quite still. I keep everything clean and dust free as much as possible to keep it from squeaking. One of the best trucks I have owned and its only 3 years young.

After I installed my leather seats, I've gotten a lot of leather squeaks (sound almost like rubbing balloons together, except a lot quieter than that) when I go over bumps. But if I turn the stereo up even a little those noises get drowned out.

Also, I have a weird high pitched rattle underneath somewhere when I shift into reverse with my foot still on the brake, when the engine is cold. It disappears when I take my foot off the brake. Not sure what that's about.

Oh, and I have ~135,000 on my 2006.

Only thing that comes to mind is the passenger door on my access cab doesn't seem like its latching as snug as it should...rattles a little sometime's. No noises from the dash yet, 63k miles.

My truck was an absolute definition of rattle trap when I bought it. The body mounts squeaked, the fenders whistled, and the whole dash had a percussion symphony of rattles.

Now with the proper application of some lubricant, a new overfender, half a sheet of adhesive felt, and adhesive foam rubber, the truck is finally silent with the exception of one heating duct that rattles under 40F if no heat is sent to it.

The one oddity is the stock 3-leafs that have never made a peep.

It's going to roll over 32k soon. Not sure if I can bring myself to buy a used truck again after this one.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
I dont have any rattles except sometimes something rattles in the dash and W/S area on cold days? Thats it, my truck has just a shade over 12k on it so it is still pretty new. As much as I hate to say it, everything loosens up on a vehicle the more miles you put on it and as it ages. Parts wear out, there is no avoiding it. There is a beginning, and an end to everything on this earth, the only thing that can last forever is time. I just hope my Tacoma will keep going strong for 10+ years at lest. I am sure it will, it is a Yota after all!

    118thousand + miles

Removed squeaky stock rear springs right off, adjusted door latches, removed rear inner fender wells, put screws to bed "pockets......that`s about it.

I spend a LOT of time on dirt roads/trails & hate rattles!

oh, and put fleece silencing material on the square things in the rear access cab doors where the seat belt connector hits when the seat belt is off and a drop of superglue under the top corners of the square things themselves since they rattle.

Like I said I hate rattles.

I`ll throw in repairs too....compass/temp gauge, front wheel bearing each side, clockspring/spiral cable ummmmm guess that`s it.
It has the leaking timing cover too but it`s barely enough to stain the block so I`m running it.

Driven hard daily-hammered on the weekends :)
The last 7 years have been the best 7 years of my life, as far as trucks are concerned this is by far the BEST truck I have ever owned! Everyone that roams with me says what an awsome truck it has been.
