I have an 08 Tacoma and Have abs codes c0200 and c0205 both say front sensor fault . My mechanic plugged in a computer and the computer showed that all 4 sensors worked when it came to the wheel sensor speed readings. So I'm thinking maybe it's the ecu? Maybe it needs to be reprogrammed if it's possible

Too much to list, but enough to get me in trouble. Repeatedly.
Jump pins 5 and 13 on the OBD2 connector. Turn the truck on and quickly stab the brake pedal 8 times (finish stabbing before the ABS light starts blinking, or you'll need to restart). Turn off the truck, remove the jumper. You should be good.

OBD2 pins are counted from right to left, bottom to top. 1 is bottom right, 9 is top right.

the sensors probably are dropping off when slowing down
like when your around 5mph they are not reading. i would replace the sensor and wire harness for them

If your mechanic is using a decent Scanner, have him just delete the codes if nothing is mechanically or physically wrong. There's no use in spending $400-500 getting it tuned. Even if you wanted to have it tuned, goodluck finding someone that actually knows their way around Toyota tuning.

My mechanic reset/cleared the whole system , the code doesn't come up immediately. It comes up after about 5-10 min of driving . He was thinking maybe the ecu lost its memory somehow and would have to have Toyota reprogram it

Well good thing you know its nothing too serious or harmful. My 98 Tacoma has had an ABS code on ever since i bought the truck in July 2013, I've scanned and cleared the code several times from a Snap-On SOLUS ULTRA, and it still pops up after a few minutes of driving. When i read the code, it always tells me that ALL my sensors are bad. I know that they must be, because i sometimes notice it somewhat hard to stop on dry surfaces, but not all the time. I've looked into buying all new ones and replacing them, but they're over $400 for all 4. If you ever notice it becoming a little harder to come to a complete stop, go find a wrecked one in a junkyard, and get them off that. You'll probably pay $50 for a full set there, but that beats $400...plus you can also get a 5 finger discount and walk out with just paying for 1 or 2 of them.

If you take the truck directly to Toyota, they may or may not Reprogram or update your computer. Because they will probably sell you on a new set of them with the "We cannot clear this Code because the vehicle is unsafe on the road and we will be held liabe ... etc." speech. If you do plan on buying new ones, all i can say from experience with other parts is, get some that have a lifetime warranty. Because in 5 years you never know if one or more will go bad again, and screw spending another $100+ on them. I hope this helps you!
