I saw a video talking about how the ac condenser drips on to the frame creating rust on 3rd gen Tacoma’s. I have a 2017 Tacoma sr with the 4 cylinder. Does anyone know if it’s the same with the 4 cylinder?

Of course. The condensate drain runs from the evaporator case out the firewall, and that's the same position in all models.

While you can 'do something' if it makes you feel good, it would be more than a lifetime before condensate caused anything more than surface rust. It's no different than driving in the rain, through puddles or washing the undercarriage at the car wash.

It's road salts for those who live in snow country or frolic on the beach that eats up frames.
