Just curious does any one have a 6" suspension lift that's running 265/70/17 tires. I just wanna see what it looks like. I got a 3" lift with 265/70/17 duratracs. Got some $$$$ and was thinking of 6" fabtech and just running my current wheels n tires until they wear out but that's gonna be for a while. My lift consist of 5100's and add a leaf with Toytec coils up front.

My options is either 6" fabtech basic lift or icon coilovers with resivors and rear resivor icon shocks with current wheels n tires

    Which option would u choose

I'd rock the Icon setup personally...265s would look terrible with a 6" Lift IMO...way too small

But would look okay with the Icons until you got some 285s or whatever

sorry no pics. running a 6" fabtech w/265/70/17. tires are way small for the lift but got a lot of rubber left. waiting for tires to wear. need spacers if you run stock 17s on a 6" lift.

Yeah even 33's are a bit small on a 6" IMO. 31's will be way too small.

265/70r17 will be about 32"... a little less depending on tire and brand.

Will probably look weird. I personally do like the look of 33s on 6 in lift though, so who knows. Hopefully somebody will post some pics.

 missed the 17" rim part. Still a bit small though. I think my 32's look small on my 2.5" lift.

Do you want a big lift, or a better functioning lift? You can always sell those tires, and just pay a little more to get some bigger tires too.

do you want form or function?
the 6" lift will do nothing other than change the looks of your ride. the icon setup will ride great and antually do something for your truck. and if you still want a 6" lift down the road you will already have some sweet parts to go along with it
