My factory/OEM Tonneau is nowhere near loose of floppy. Fits very snug and secure. Maybe the one the OP checked out was not installed correctly or needed adjustment.

I have an Undercover and I love it. Fits great, easy to take on and off, easy to open, and it locks too so there's no need for a locking tailgate.

I've worked the factory cover and own the extang on my 3rd gen, man the factory cover is nice. One hand use and easier to unlock and use.

I like the factory the best. Now with that said I went with the extang because I don't like how the factory cover is mounted. I want to be able to remove my cover when I want without having the spike latches and all still visible.

Do you have any pics? This is what I had on my last truck and I loved it. I haven't seen it available for the 2016 yet, where did you order it from?

You'll get over it! I recall the first time I drilled into my Jeep. Pretty sure I had anxiety over it! Now? Eh, what's another hole?!?!?

Is it fairly secure too? I shoot and hunt a lot, so I want something that will keep some asshat from seeing/stealing my firearms if I'm stopped overnight or for food, etc...

Once you lock the tailgate, ain't nothing getting that cover off except a circular saw. Plus, you can completely remove it if you need to without any tools - simply unhook the cab-side clamps and it's off. Easy.

Awesome! I think you have just convinced me to get one. I liked my rollX, but it was a bitch to align, a pain to remove and it was never that weatherproof. Great for security though!

Yep, visited my truck when it arrived at the dealership last night. That cover is snug as a bug in a rug. Very secure too... until the rep showed me how to open it, I could not get it to budge.

Got mine installed yesterday, I have to say, I'm really impressed with it. It seems very sturdy, and I'm hoping once I get the tailgate seal installed it will be water tight enough for me.

BTW, does anyone have pics of their tailgate seal installed? I'm trying to figure out the best way with that curve and those rubber bumpers on the side wall.

do you have a long or short bed? any chance you have or could take a picture with it rolled up? this is the one I am leaning towards when Bak finally releases models for the 2016, but I am slightly concerned how much space the cover takes up at the front of the bed when it is rolled up.

I have the Rugged, and it fits great. Only water that seems to enter the truck bed is the remaining water on the top of the tailgate when I open it. I have it set up so that the seal is just in front of the tailgate, but has just enough pressure on it when closed. I don't have the cover slid back with the seal on top of the tailgate like others have posted. With the cover positioned this way, the back does not overhang at all.

My factory OEM cover is snug with the exception of right at the tailgate where it does lift slightly but hardly any water got in when I put it through the car wash. In fact, other than residual drips on the tailgate itself, there was no water in the bed, just on the sidewall on the interior. Pretty happy with mine so far.

Are you sure you're closing it properly. I noticed you have to give it some oomph when closing the rear section or yeah, it won't be as tight as it should be.

I'll check it out after work. I'll give it a good ol slam within reason and see what happens. If I have too, I'll sit on the edge and disregard the warnings about sitting on it.
