Managed get them uploaded using the phone and some of my lunch break instead.

    Here's how it's mounted....
(ignore the little stuffed doggy. He's there to fill the empty space until I can find a good cell phone holder that'll fit there.)

Here's how I keep the wires out of my way.

Yeah, it's down low and takes a little getting used to, but I listen to it more then look at the screen anyway.

For a long trip on the window.

For a short trip. wrap the excess wire around the suction mount and stick the mount/wire in the left cup holder. you can use the adjustable cup holding lever to keep the suction mount and wires secure and then you can still adjust the gps unit for viewing. It almost looks like its part of your center dash

It's actually a block of aluminum. I machined it to fit the garmin and fit the space there in the truck. I painted it gloss black and then laser engraved the symbols on it. It was about a 3 day project.

I should be in the SD area in the beginning of next year. I have no problem making some more. The thing is that unless it's the same model garmin as mine I would need to get my hands on whatever garmin the plate is for in order to get the dimensions.

Oh, it's hardwired and the wire runs under the dash.
