Or do TW members catch themselves liking someone's post because the other member liked theirs first...

At least there are 3 of us "normal people" here. Ha!

I am not the least bit confrontational (not anymore) and I will ask strangers to spit out their gum if they are chomping it near me. If it is family, I get hostile about it.

I do everything in two, eat candy in twos but if it's skittles or multiple colors they can't be the same. If there are 4 red left over or just 1 yellow I toss them. This is why I can't eat cereal.

I thought I was weird with skittles...you have me beat! I just sort them out by color and eat them a certain way based on color. I would never throw one away. That's just wrong :p

haha, when I was a kid I could only eat Lucky Charms and the like if I had one marshmallow piece for every 2 oats. Any oats left over got tossed in the trash.

I'd probably still do it if I ever bought the stuff anymore.

Haven't heard of that one either - but is at least slightly less disturbing sounding. :p

It's called misophonia (http://www.webmd.com/mental-health/what-is-misophonia )and yes, I am the same way. Smacking gum, chewing and even dogs licking things really, really bother me and I have to remove myself from it.

I also find myself getting annoyed with the spamming of the like button

I start driving around the building and question if I really did set the alarm (even though I have never forgotten, and usually wait outside for it to stop beeping). So, I stop outside another door where I can see an alarm panel just to make sure it does indeed say "Armed (Away)".

There's a sense of accomplishment, too! I'm the same way. I like to do things myself unless I know it's way beyond my capabilities and even then I usually try and fail before I give in.

Yeah I've had a couple people point me to Misophonia articles, it took some time but I'm finally admitting to it. Reading up on it though has revealed that there are people that have it even worse than I do, some cases of it are really severe it seems. Unless I'm having a particularly bad or irritated day, I can usually ignore it outwardly (inwardly I'm screaming inside, but that never changes).

I can't stand any noise my neighbors make yet the construction across the street doesn't bother me at all, don't like water spots on my silverware, I go on the Tacoma forum when I'm bored but I'll probably get a tundra...

I pre-wash dishes until they're squeaky clean, even though they're going in the dishwasher in 2 minutes.
