I have a fear of my phone battery dying so I compulsively plug it in even with 100% power.

I start getting the sweats at 30% power.

My wife on the other hand will let her phone die almost daily and not blink an eye.

    Let's see....
Volumes must end in 5s or 0s. 11, 22, 33, etc are also acceptable
Super paranoid about leaving my curling iron plugged in when I leave for work in the morning. Have to unlock my place and run back in to check at least once a week.
Windshield must be free of any debris at all times
Paranoid about locking my car. I usually have to pull on the handles even if I clearly hear the car beep when I use the key fob
Wash my hands a lot. Before eating. Anytime I've been in public and return home its the first thing I do
That's all I can think of for now

I'm that way with gas in the car. Never leave on a trip without filling up first, always paranoid about running out.
My ex used to run around for days with the low fuel light on. Drove me nuts

Yup that about sums it up for me. I know I locked the doors but have to check and make sure they ARE locked...! Every time I do that I then think, those door lock actuators are gonna fail prematurely from me locking them over and over!

    I have a couple:

    • For t-shirts, I can't stand it when the fit around the neck is too loose. I like it nice and snug. Not tight, just snug around my neck. If it's really loose, it makes me feel like the shirt is falling off and sliding down my chest.
    • Keys - house, car, garage, etc., I have to have them in my hand, looking at them, as I walk out the door and lock the <whatever it is>. I locked myself out of a car back in college once, and I will never do that again.
    • Alarm clock - every night that I have an alarm set for the following morning, I always check it 2 or more times as I'm getting into bed, to make damn sure it is set correctly and active. I am just super uber paranoid about being late to anything.
    • Being on time - my dad was always early for any and everything. His "motto" was 'If you're 10 minutes early, you're late'. I inherited that mindset completely.
    • When I've been in school - high school, college, graduate, I always sit in the front row, as close to center, or directly in front of the teacher/professor/presenter as I possibly can. I don't want anything distracting me, and I want to make sure I hear and see everythin....... oh, somebody brought pizza to class!!!! :D
    • I try very hard to get in at least one good cigar every day/night, even if it means I end up staying up way past my bed time, and I know I'll be dragging ass a little the next day at work.
Your mileage, or quirkiness, may vary.

    /edit to add:

    * I have this weird rule about downloading apps and app updates on my iPhone. I always power cycle my phone everytime I download/update more than 3 apps at the same time. Having been in the IT industry for 25 years, I have this thing about regular reboots, clearing up memory leaks and zombie processes, and what not.
    * Updates/patches on my laptop - Also due to my long IT career, I have this healthy paranoia about cyber security, so I always update my OS, or applications with patches within a couple days after they are released by the vendor.

I quit smoking 2 months ago (42 years of it) and my "misophonia" has gotten 100X worse. I have had to stay away from everyone I know who triggers it. Screaming inside doesn't even begin to cover it lately haha.

Wow. I've got a ton, but I'm sure they are just "habits".

When I hang my towel on the hook outside the shower, It has to have the tag hanging on the right hand side so that when I grab it from the shower, the tag is on the bottom of the towel. Has to be that way. Don't like it at all if I have to check it. Wife doesn't understand...:anonymous:

When I wake up in the middle of the night to take a piss, then go back to bed I look at what time it is and say ok If I fall right back to sleep now I have x amount of hours and minutes till my alarm goes off. Sometimes it makes it hard to fall back asleep because I'll only get x amount more of sleep and it doesn't seem like enough.

While watching TV, I constantly open and close the battery compartment on the remote. My wife can't stand it.

I don't necessarily have to eat them together, but I often separate them by color and as I eat I try to keep each pile even in numbers lol
