Oh, I have 2 alarm clocks sitting side by side.
One is electric, and the second is a vintage Big Ben wind up. Just *in case* the power goes out and the electric clock doesn't work.
Then I would be late,*but* that's why I am always early everywhere I go. Just *in case* I get a flat and have enough time to change it without *being late*.
    Freaky, yes? lol

I am absolutely terrified of crawfish, dead or alive. As a result, I have been unable to swim in ponds or rivers or anywhere I can't see the bottom since I was a little kid. The friends I grew up with were/are complete assholes, they put dead crawfish in my shoes, they would throw them at me. They disturb me to the point where I am light-headed and sick to my stomach when I see them.

To this day, I am still terrified of them. If someone at my table orders them or gets them from a buffet, I will leave the table feeling nauseous. It's a really irrational phobia I have.

lol, I guess I am a real pussy.

I always set 2-3 alarms on my phone "just in case I don't wake up on the first one."

As for being early, nahhhhh you're not early.

    early = on time
    on time = late

That's how I have always been, 10-15 minutes early for pretty much everything.

I do a thing with words.. all day long, and for over 20 years.

I'll reorganize a word using every other letter, and then rewrite it.

    So, for example - chicken.

    Every other letter is CIKN.

    Leftovers are HCE.

    Chicken is now CIKNHCE.

Then I basically visualize CIKN on one line, and HCE on the other, then draw lines between them that spell the original word correctly again. :notsure:

Literally hate it. Will sometimes do it for hours.

Didn't think to add this, but I have used only battery powered alarm clocks for the last 30 or so years just *in case* the electricity goes out.
