does anybody know how this comes off ???

    its located on the passenger side between the cab and the bed mounted on the cab it looks like a cab vent or something , how does it come off I dont want to ruin it nor do I want to mask it when I paint ???? basically I have my bed pulled back about 6 inchs so I have access to take it off and to paint Any help would be greatly apprieacted .. oh yea I have a 07 double cab

    You can access it through the rear of the cab. You have to pull off the rear corner panels an go up through where the seat belt tension assembly is. You will see it when you get back there its a big black plastic housing.
