Never used those, I squeeze them between the driver side sun visor and roof, if the visor goes down I need the glasses anyway.

Use both. Didn't even know one was smaller than the others.

Serengeti Sedona in one no problems:

Reading\cheater glasses in the other with plenty of room to spare. I do like the condoms stash idea though! But balk at the idea of putting one on after it has been sitting there in teens and twenties below zero....

I don't use it in my Tacoma but I use the sunglass holder in my Sport Trac for my wireless winch remote. I'll do the same with the Tacoma when I build or buy a winch bumper/ winch plate.

I had my sunglasses up there one summer, and they burned my face when I put them on. Never again. I keep them in one of the cup holders now.

I put my garage door opener in there. I hate having it visible(even though I should be using the homelink but too lazy to program it right now). LOL.

One off mine holds the garage door opener, the other I leave open with my arms on the glasses closed to hold the lip. Sunglasses won't fit in there with the door closed.

Lowered 3/4, debadged, led tails, projector headlights with hids, billet grill, blacked out windows, painted front and rear bumper and grill shell. Inside, 4 crappy 15's, suede wrapped headliner and door panel inserts, alpine double din, few painted pieces inside, and every led is either blue or white.
Nope lol, I glued mine shut and bodyworked it then wrapped it in suede to match my headliner. That's how it was. I'm reworking my headliner though and I'm going to remove the overhead piece all together.

Yes I do. I loved it in my old Dakota and I was very happy to see one when I test drove my Tacoma. I'd loose too many pairs if I didn't have a spot for them.

I keep a spare pair of sunglasses in there, as well as my insurance, registration and a spare license. I think it's good to have these things readily available.

Maui Jim's fit in the second holder (upside down). Not sure that any would fit in the first holder.

My Ray Ban I dunno what model they are fit perfectly in my ONE sunglasses storage thingy and they go in there every time I park. Works perfectly. Interesting to read everything that people keep in theirs or how they get rid of the overhead all together!

I keep my IPhone in it after linking the phone to my hands free stereo interface. Keeps me from being tempted to look at the phone and being distracted from driving. ;)
