You are not alone. I have done that for some cool stuff before. Discovery Channel or some channel did a whole tv show/documentary on people that do that for a living.

I don't but I think it's great that people do. A lot of stuff of value gets tossed away and it's a lot better than making new things.

My dad does all the time. The leaf blower I have at home is something he found. Metal bed frame for $50 at the mattress store? pfft free from the side of the road! Antique (style) sewing table for my mom, just needed to to be stripped and stained.

didn't you have a roach problem a little while ago?

i can tell when i was a chef in the city our radio at the striped bass had roaches crawling through it inside i mean

i went ot change the station one day and viola a roach went past my favorite station

i'd watch what you bring into your home clean or not bugs are crafty little bastards. i hate every thing that crawls on this planet so this is not a hobby of mine man.

burnt christmas trees must smell great though : and burn for a good long while.

Ha, going around after a semester is over in college towns is the best. I don't think I have had to purchase dishwasher detergent, clothing detergent, or fabric softener sheets since moving here. Hell even got a Roomba and 500 bucks some kid forgot he had and threw away.

We usually collect pots, pans, plates, and anything else that is usable, wash them and then donate them to goodwill. No sense filling the landfill with stuff people need on a daily basis.

im not gonna say my roaches are gone, simply cause its eastern north carolina, but i hate the bastards and wish everyone of em was gone hahaha but seriously i aint seen one for a few weeks haha

but i clean everything extremely well, you have no idea how germaphobic i am

but we burn trees every year, last year we had 125 this year our goal is 200

the rich neighborhoods are the best for cool shit and trees, i can only fit 10 trees at a time from those places

I was drunk once, walking across the lid of a dumpster that I climbed to impress 8 girls I met just outside the bar (I was 18, give me a break) and the lid collapsed and I fell inside onto the trash.

Since then I no longer "Dumpster Dive"
