Check my build thread...too much to list.
^^^This also. I only really let other people drive when I get it serviced. I could be tired as hell and I'll still drive my truck rather then let someone else drive. Load up on energy drinks and go.

Exactly man. Even when drinking. I'd rather wait a couple hours and sober up then toss someone my keys. Haha, I pretty much wanna get a fingerprint scanner for the thing. If it's not my prints, you can't drive it

I've had mine for a year and a half (truck that is) and my wife's never even moved it. She used too drive my Cummins Dodge but she was always trying to knock over Mocha stands with it. So now that I have my dream truck I'm keeping it too myself. Besides she drives a dented up Prius and could care less about how cool a Tacoma is.:D

I made a deal with my woman, if she damages my truck, she has to pay for the upgrade :D

I do trust her, but not in the underground parking, she was actually able to rub a corner in her Jeep! Thankfully it has running boards so no body damage (and if she drives my truck its got sliders :D )

I do a little bit with spouse since I have a DCLB and I know I've updated my style of driving from before when I drove a car with smaller wheelbase. Unfortunately she only drives it when she needs a 'work truck' but the Taco does everything we've ever asked of it and i think she does respect its value. She definitely knows how much respect I give it. I generally wouldn't let anybody else but my spouse drive it if I was not at least in the passenger seat and those times are few are far between.

I am putting a lot more into the truck than I imagined I would, but I've never put anything into any previous vehicle. I always thought, 'what's the use?' Now I'm saving for/purchased everything from sliders to LEDs to Ultragauges to seat covers to suspensions and on and on. I have not regretted anything I've purchased, but I digress from the main topic.

Back to answering the main thread - I get nervous a little bit because of the longer wheelbase.

My truck is a tank. I fear for other people when she drives it.

    back to bone stock.
i love my wife more than my truck. she can drive (and she does) anytime she wants.

the other day, i WISH she drove it. she had the guy at the feedstore shoehorn a bale of straw into her forester...took me 2 hours to clean the interior.

our tacomas can take a hit. if the worst happens, i bet she is safer in my truck than her mini SUV.

I have a manual transmission. Everytime the clutch is ridden ever so slightly, the revs are not matched up correctly to the gear or its forced in to first gear with the truck still moving all make me cringe and say something.

When I drive stick the shifts are silky smooth. My clutch and transmission will last forever. You can drive your truck hard, but still not kill your tranny.

    She's a shiddy, nervous driver.
Jacks the wheel back and forth constantly, over-brakes, runs the wipers dry etc. All the usual, plus it's a stick.

    So, nope.
