We're going to give everyone long beds and make Japan pay for it!

If I had gotten a short bed I'd wish I had a long bed, but I knew this and got a long bed.

Do I just repeat what has been said here? Long bed for the effing win. I mean why, why would you intentionally add that sort of inconvenience to your life?

I have a Lund bed extender. Made short work of the 20 12' decking boards I hauled over the summer.

If you need a long bed might as well get something with a proper 8ft bed.

For me the 5ft bed works just fine...a 60" hi-lift fits perfect and if I'm picking up lumber or other large items I use the rack or a trailer.

I love my SB but wanted the LB, only got the SB due to no manual on the LB:(

Bought mine used so I didn't specifically order a truck, but still like the SB for my purposes. Don't off-road, but I do like the slightly tighter turning radius with some of the turns I have to make to get in and out of my property.

Well, no garage here, but it WILL snuggle into the carport if I move all my mowers and park then closer to the tractor...

Actually...a LB would fit in my garage. But it would be tighter for sure. SB fits 99% of my needs. For the 1%? That's what my extender is for.

I wish I had the long box only at times that the extra foot is needed for cargo. I will likely get the long box next time around because it is way more functional for my purposes. I will definitely miss my manual transmission if and when that happens

Everytime I load up for camping or hunting, lumber, gravel, barkdust, etc. I wish I had the DCLB. However, I love the look of it, and plan on adding hauling capacity with a bed rack system and a roof rack. Won't help with some things, but with make it more of a "pack mule"

I couldn't live with a short bed. I use mine often for carrying anything for home projects to side jobs. 6' bed carrying a couple of 12' 6x6 posts is pushing it. If it were a 5' bed then over half the post would be outside the bed. lol
