If I had a short bed I'm sure I'd regret it. I sleep in the bed sometimes so I need a long bed.

I wanted/needed the Off-Road model truck for e-locker, atrac. The truck has delivered consistently, day after month, after year. I've lived with SB limitations and made it work. No regrets.

I'm starting to look at DCLBs now. First thing I did was check the garage. It will fit if I rethink my bench/tools/garage junk layout. :goingcrazy:

I'd want the extra bed length any day for hauling project stuff/lumber and for camp stuff. Otherwise, might as well get a 4runner and a trailer.

You'll need the TSB AAL to haul all that!

I need the bed space more than a shorter wheel base. I don't off-road hard enough anyway, it's a capable hunting truck.

I see a bunch of people stating that they got the DCSB because it can fit in their garage...

It's a truck. Trucks are to be dirty.

I actually just found out, while preparing for the OME install, that my DCLB does fit in the garage with the door closed.

Never.... I owned an access cab for 7 months and I can honestly say everything that wouldn't fit in this 5' bed (kayaks namely) don't fit in the 6' bed either. There's very few things that are too big for a 5' but still fit in a 6'. Most things fall into the category of "just doesn't fit at all" and at that rate a rack or trailer is essential, regardless of bed.

The extra interior room with a DCSB vs AC is killer though. Losing the money on that trade in was rough, but it was a great decision.

DCLB was never an option due to the wheelbase and the fact that these already have a poor enough turning radius with a DCSB. A foot of wheelbase was not welcome.
