Thats why you go on a sunday night... no kids there, no wives there, it will be like 5 dads sitting alone and being quiet.

If your ever in the NH area, and up for some backwoods camping. There's a place called Sawyer Pond, its about a 1.6mi hike and if you get in the hut, its a great view.

it seems a bit more crazy now with people running around stabbing others on the Appalachian trail. Good thing they caught the guy, but sad that someone still died.

I threw a roll of TP in my truck just last week. On a recent trip through California, I was shocked again at how drastically different folks use a bathroom. There’s a sink and a toilet. One for poop and one for pee, not hard to figure it out, people.

Change that to "local Tacoma meetup" and that's accurate AF.

I once saw a dude shit ONTO a wall. An exterior wall of a donut shop in Los Angeles. He was standing.

In NYC I saw a dude whip out and piss right onto a cab while the cabbie facepalmed.

Broverlandi...I mean, camping, by yourself = cathartic.

Small groups are usually good - just depends on the type of people going.

On another note, camping with kids can be great, especially in areas where you can show them woodsman/outdoors skills. Their curiosity is fun to witness, and teaching them to appreciate the outdoors while they're young (prior to teenage years) is important IMO.

Woke up in my skivvies in the tent once. Went out to find my only pair of pants next to the fire with one pant leg burned off to the upper thigh.

Party of 8-10. Some total strangers before the camp. Breakfast was a little awkward that morning. Generally a bad re-entry.

    Wasn't right for two days.
