Hey guys, I am shopping for a 3" or 4 " Step bar/ Nerf Bar and since I have a 2010 Double Cab Taco with the long bed, I think the longer bar would be better, specially since I have seen some step bars that are not even long long enought to cover the whole door area.
If you have one of those, would you please post a photo of it?
    How long is it??
I have called a couple places and they only have 80" or 83"
    Thanks for the replies!

Why upgrade to sliders?? Offroad or looks??
Sliders seem to be less functional... It looks like you can't hardly step on it and less stepping area! But again, never seen one in person....

i want them for protection of the truck, i do not offroad a lot but i do hunt a lot and so there are those times when driving over a fallen tree or driving around large rocks they would help. i have already dented the Nerf bars i have so i think the sliders will hold up a lot better.

i do not use the Nerf bars to get into the truck so unless i am trying to get on top of my truck they really do little for me. my kids do use them to get in and out but they can use the sliders

Bone stock other than new floor mats.
Us vertically challenged individuals fine nerf bars useful for waxing the truck roof line. :D I agree though the sliders will provide the best protection given your requirement.
