I have the optional Qi charging pad in my 16' DC LB Sport that I use to hold junk. Has anyone used this or is it just a wasted option?

I was pretty excited about it until I found out it doesn't work with iPhone.

Rite. That's what I thought too. I guess you can buy a special case for your phone

I bought a little charging adapter thing for my iphone. Worked once then after that it takes too long to get it lined up, so I gave up.

I have a galaxy s7, and use it every once in a while. It does charge slow though.

Works great for Galaxy S5. I just had to buy a $7 Qi coil that tapes to my phone battery and fits under the cover. For the iPhone... it's even cheaper but it doesn't go inside and has to hook up to the port in the bottom of the phone. Because Apple are dicks.

You can also buy protective cases with it already installed and get a Qi pad for your nightstand so you never need to plug the phone in again (unless you need a fast charge).

Works fine on my S7 edge. It is a slow charger (8 hours) vs fast charger (1.5 hours)
The phone seems to slide around a bit and sometimes slides off the sweet spot and no longer charges.
If the LED light is not lit on the charging pad, it's not charging.

You might want to try a different case. Mine charged slow or wouldn't charge at all until I swapped cases.

*This* If I leave it in the thick leather bill fold case I have it gains about 10% an hour but naked sitting on the pad it does a full charge from 15% in a 2-3hr drive.

I don't use it because fast charge is the best thing ever so I just plug it in. If it was a fast wireless charger I'd be ecstatic about it since I'm a Samsung guy.
