    I've been thinking of getting into building fishing rods as a hobby and was wondering if anyone had experience with this. I will probably join a proper forum so if there are any recommendations it would be appreciated. I just don't want to buy the first thing I see.

    Might have better luck in the Fishing and Boating section.

    I've been thinking about getting in to rod building too. Check out mudhole.com apparently it's the place for components. Lots of info to take in on the site as well.
