    I also enjoy knives but not really a big time collector. I have 30-40 case xx pocket knives, mostly are from the early 80s. I have a few fixed blade hunting knives and when I go out and I can't carry my sig 229 I always have my S&W S.W.A.T. folder with me.

    Me, I have custom and semi custom folders and non folding knives, and two Bugei Trading swords.

    Also custom cutlery/chef's knives.

    I hand sharpen on the Japanese waterstone and finish with a strop.


    My favorite steels are high carbon. They have wicked edges, but require care.

    I have a handful or two. Just got a Gerber Fast draw, you know since US Customs is trying to reclassify assisted openers as switchblades.

    ive got a bunch of knives..I love them, but most of them theres something wrong with them..I guess you can say im a collector..lol
