Im having problems getting these things to work everytime I shoot. I try to loosen them just to the point where they turn off but then sometimes they wont come on the next time. Is there a secret to these things that anyone here has found?

I saw some of these in the Cableas magazine, but Im still wondering what exactly they are for? So you can track your arrow or see your arrow at night?

If thats the case then I think they would be pretty sweet!

Didn't mean to hijack just a quick question!

All good... They are actually very badass when they work right. The stay in the off position until you shoot them. The forward pressure of the string against the arrow pushes the nock into the on position. So you can then find the arrow in low light conditions in a pass through or if it gets lodged into the animal you could track them with it.

They look cool as hell when you fire them cause they turn on in flight and look like a tracer round lol.

are you sure you have the right sized lumenoks for your arrows? If the ones you have are too tight, then they won't turn on correctly.

    stock, for now
i bought one just to try, and it dosent seem to fit in the arrow just right..Not sure if you have to glue these in or not, but Im not willing to shoot the arrow and have the nock on the string as the deers running away..lol

If its not raining tomorrow, I may go out and shoot some arrows and see what happens.

Good news.... After shooting them a bunch you have to just work them a little to loosen them up. They are turning off and on good now. Too bad I got stiffed on Saturday and had nothing to shoot them at lol.

Toyota all weather floor mats. Mag light that clunks around in the jack compartment. Dog hair. Dog drool on the windows.
A guy at work uses them, And swears by them! There are definitely tricks to it!
Call the customer service number, From what this guy says, they are super friendly.
He might have been talking about cabellas though.

If I am not mistaken, you can not get a deer into Pope and Young if you are using Lumenoks. Some rule about nothing electronic on your bow or arrows.
