    I have and have seen far more old firefighting equipment and have never seen anything close to this. Plus for the sake of my sanity I sent the pick to some old timers that know far more than I do and they got no clue.

    the little fitting above the lever looks like a bleeder port of some sort. I was thinking dairy related? its not brass so I wouldnt think firefighting stuff

    Betcha it's missing parts for the bottom that screw into it and acts like a swivel ratchet- and it really looks like an old farm irrigation spray cannon-.... without the flapper nozzle tip either. The handle off the back is roll pinned in and shaped like it catches the missing top nozzle that would open and or close the water flow.....J.S...
