    My brother will probably repurpose them as legs on furniture....now that he knows what they are. I told him I had a whole website working on figuring it out ...lol.

    I was looking at it thinking I know this part. I worked at a Trailer plant for 16 years, air powered rivet gun, do you know how many rivets are in a trailer? Anyway we used them on the head of a rivet while some newb held a chunk of steel against the other side until flat. Usually these were the rivets in hard to reach places. We also put chisel heads on them for chipping whatever needed chipping.
