Does anyone know what this is under my dash?

They part you put in looks like a large headphone jack. And they always mount them under the steering column somewhere you normally have to reach down and plug the key then remove it to get the truck started. they're very common around here, seems like every caravan/honda has one. If you can start the truck with out the key- its been disabled. the lil red light on it normally flashes - when it flashes truck no start!

 

Thanks for all the ideas and help. Ipod input I dont think it could be, there is one that I've been using next to the 12v jack above cup holders. Dealer installed security I think would be a good guess, but the truck does start without anything installed. The dealership I purchased it from wont tell me were it got the truck...WTF. I like one of the ideas, plug something in see what happens, while still under warranty. Thanx

Did your dealer provide you the original window sticker/invoice? The dealership that received the vehicle from the factory is listed on my sticker.

 

thats the best bet if you want to know, bring a test light as well to check powers
