    trying to find a regular gas can to fill lawn mower and stuff.. everything now is so damn epa push this pull this i am trying to find a regular one... kind you can just take the cap off the hose poor and put it back on .. cmon i know someone knows...

    Hitch and wiring, aux back-up light, rear strobe lights, radio and underseat sub.
    Not true. Some of them carry the self-venting, cap-closure style can. You have to hunt for them.

    I feel you pain. I luckily have the older style and they are holding up just fine. My 5g I bought a few years ago from Lowes has a venting spout but no flip, pull, push, dance thing a ma jigs on it. just more plastic to manufacture and break, but hey, if it saves a drop of gas from hitting the ground I guess they did their job.

    I know what you mean.

    I recently got one of these. Just cut off the 'lock tab' under the push handle and you can push the lever freely without it locking.

    Works much better IMO than one of the non 'safe' ones because you can stop the flow completely while the tank is still tilted over, so when you go to set it back down all the fluid doesn't go everywhere that can happen sometimes when it's full.
