Most notably on a black sand pearl AC. Thinking of replacing it with a sport grille.

No. Colormatch has a cleaner look.

Color matched grill w/ grillcraft. BHLM and Morimoto Mini HID's Debadged.
Black Sand Pearl AC here. Been there, done that. Tossed in a Grillcraft, BHLM and Morimoto retrofit for good measure as well.

I liked the chrome when it was new, but now the chrome is peeling off. Only 2 years old!

Nice looking truck, identical to mine... minus the grille. Did you spray your headlights or use lamin-x?

I like the chrome grill on my white access cab. would i take a color matched? yes. but i do like the chrome enough to keep it. plus then my chrome rear bumper would look out of place without the chrome on the front, IMO.

I've always been a fan of color-matching. But everyone has their own taste! Do what YOU like!!;)

I REALLY would love doing this, but the '11 black is not black sand pearl! I'd have to buy an unpainted/unchrome one, which is more expensive then the painted one for some reason.... and have it sprayed.

I like the '11 grilles so much, that i debated on buying an '11 chrome one.

Color matched grill w/ grillcraft. BHLM and Morimoto Mini HID's Debadged.
    Krylon Fusion gloss black.

I think I have a small leak in the passenger light. Once ski season is done I'm going to bust them open and redo it. I left the shrouds chrome, but I think I'm going to paint them as well. I'm going to do it all flat black this time, but I don't think it will matter much behind the lens. Also swapping out to the sylvania 4300K instead of the morimoto 5000K i have now.

I would proceed with caution if I were you. Questions like this may get you in trouble.

No Chrome. Color match the grill, do the satoshi, take off all emblems and get black wheels ASAP. Don't attempt to go against the crowd...it will only bring problems for you!

I am going to chrome my entire truck body and then replace my chrome grille with a color match.
