Its funny the way the world works. A man will go out of his way to make a complaint, but rarely do you see someone pointing out the good things. I haven't got my truck yet, but I am not letting the negatives steer me away.

Its a good truck, here is the problem. the prices has gone up so people are expecting more from their 35k investment. The problem is, the value is the same. Same truck, same value, we just see a higher price tag then before, and think it should be better. Inflation has affected our perception.

Very happy with mine. SR5 access cab 4cyl, drives smooth, gets the mileage I was hoping for, and has adequate power for my needs. $26k. I like the longer bed too.

Love my Double can 4x4 TRD Off Road. Traded in a 2013 TRD Sport 4x4. The 2016 included all the minor updates and interior upgrades that the 2013 was missing. Body style is ten times better except the grill. But I am handling that.

Love my 16 DC Sport 4x4 Upgrade also ..... a much improved vehicle over the previous 12 DC Sport ....... had a concern with the newer engine before taking delivery, but I am impressed so far at about 4500km ........ this vehicle has better handling, much quieter interior , more aggressive exterior styling, better lighting, improved road clearance (I believe), a very much improved impressive interior ..... and many more standard accessories that were only options in earlier models ..... this from a guy that only bought full size Chevy/GMC trucks until 2012 .... and will never return .

I mean, the thing is, all cars, Mercedes, BMWs, they all have quirks. Making a car is a tough engineering challenge. For me the most importanat thing is how well my Tacoma is running at 200,000 miles. Supposedly if you treat them well, they hold up for a long time :)

Love mine, TRD Off Road Access Cab. Used to have '14. Everything is updated, powertrain is nicer on fuel too. Only complaint is the truck needing to shift to 4th on highway inclines. It shifts very smoothly, just me getting annoyed by little things.

I'm almost at 3,000 miles, and its definitely gotten better than it was when it was new. Probably going to do an oil change this weekend :)

I sill like mine, just not happy with the customer service I have received from Toyota or the transmission slipping and randomly going into neutral when I'm driving down the road (TRD Sport 4x4 Auto), but overall I like the truck. Once the transmission issues get worked out I'll like it even more!

Love mine. People who are happy rarely go to the Internet to say so, only the upset people spend the time. It's the same as everything else. If someone is not happy with their meal at a resteraunt they may speak to the manager, rarely, if ever, does some seek out the manager to tell them how great a meal was.
