A lot of the negative posts are from whiner bitches... Lol pardon the language, but it's very true! I love mine, everything I wanted and more!

Hmmm, I think you need to clarify what you consider a "whining bitch", because I'm pretty sure if your truck decided to slip into neutral while you were driving down the road on it's own twice now you'd be "whining and bitching" too. Some of us are having legitimate concerns and quite possibly genuine safety issues, while others are just truly complaining about superficial things, the way the truck looks etc, yet still bought the truck.

When people register to become members, there really should be a reading comprehension test they have to take.... "Be cognizant that forums are a centralized place where people come to share information, and generally complain to like minded individuals who might sympathize and have solutions to issues you're experiencing. Be aware that for every person experiencing issues in a forum, there is 1,000 entirely happy customers who aren't unhappy and do not feel the need to go looking for a solution to a problem that doesn't exist". True or False kinda stuff.

Totally love my TRD 4X4 OR AC V6 automatic. For a total redesign, the few little things that i have noticed going on in my rig are really just not that big of a deal. I have a slight vibration in the higher gears at lower speeds and i seem to have the uninitiated trip reset issue but neither are causing me to take it back to the dealer before my 5k mi. service. Had mine since 1/26/16 and i am at 3754 mi.

Love mine. A few minor issues, but not as many I've had with other new vehicles from other manufactures. I make excuses daily to drive, wash, rinse and repeat.

For the record, I haven't had a single issue with my Taco yet. 780 miles on her so far, '16 AC TRD Sport 6spd, love the truck. One of the best cars I've owned in a long time. All the cars I've owned have had more issues and gripes than this one.

I like it well enough but I feel Toyota has dropped the ball a tad on the roll out and service issues.

I had the hood vibration issue and the whistling sound. Both fixed in about 20 minutes total. The reason for the quick fix is because of others on this forum who reported the same problems and the resulting solutions they had to them.

This forum is a great resource, sure it has some issues with some improper behavior, but that's what the ignore button is for.

    I love my 3rd Gen!

Happy as a clam at a vegan conference.

Plenty of power, I don't have any of the problems being mentioned on here, and who knew a pick up truck could be so damn gorgeous ?

I love my new TRD OR DC/LB . It is a pleasure to drive. I have owned a 1988 Toyota 4x4 pick-up , A 1998 Toyota Tacoma extra cab 4x4 pick-up , A 2011 Toyota Tacoma TRD OR DC/SB , And now a 2016 Toyota Tacoma TRD OR DC/LB. I paid just shy of $34,000.00 for the 2011 tacoma TRD Off Road Short box The truck had the JBL stereo up grade , power mirrors , cruise control , delayed wipers , and air conditioning that was about it. My 2016 Tacoma TRD OR DC/LB. If I would have outfitted it the same as my 2011 Tacoma the price would have come in around $34,800.00 but the 2016 would also come with a long bed about a $400.00 dollar up grade and power heated mirrors The heated mirrors were not even available in 2011 and the off road true locking rear differential with Crawl control with multiterain select all this was not available in 2011. So the extra $800.00 bucks actually bought you alot more truck. But I wanted the premium up grade package that included heated seats that were not available in 2011 I also got the lane change assist that was not available in 2011. I also got the back up sonar assist that was not available in 2011. My back up camera is now on a 7 inch screen instead of the puny one that was located on the rear view mirror on the 2011. I also got GPS mapping that was not available in 2011. I also got dual climate control that was not available in 2011 and my Jbl stereo up grade interface features blows the 2011 out of the water. Ya the up-grades that I purchased added almost $4,000.00 dollars to tha tab bringing the price up to about $39.000.00 But to me the premium package was well worth the extra $ . This 2016 truck equipped the way I have it is a totally different animal than my 2011 I really love my new Tacoma , I also loved my 2011 Tacoma but after driving my 2016 I would never go back to the 2011. So yes the price has slowly kept going up but Toyota has also been giving you more for your entry level TRD OFF ROAD Package. I guess some people cant see the forest because of the trees. Just my humble opinion.IMG_1772.jpg
